Downtown Casey
Casey, IL is a small town in Clark County that you'll pass through on your way to the Sassafras Ridge venue (for those traveling from the West). It's known for its off-the-wall giant sculptures, like the world's largest golf tee, mailbox, etc. There seems to be a new one every time I drive through. If you've never been, it's definitely worth the drive just for the laughs and the contemplation of 'Why did they do this?'
Moonshine Store
Moonshine! If you're in the area early enough and want the best burger in Clark County, this is it. Moonshine is an old convenient store about 20 minutes South of Marshall that makes made-to-order burgers you order from a window or from the counter inside. It's outdoor dining only and is incredibly popular for motorcycles and Jeep runs on Saturday afternoons if the sun is shining. I'm pretty sure they only take cash.
