Did we swipe right? We didn't bother, and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way! Little did Paul know that in fact, he was right, when he claimed on internationally broadcasted television in 2011 that his soul mate would be a Jets fan. Rachel and Paul both lived in New York City in the same area for many years but never crossed paths in the Big Apple. It took both of them to move back to South Florida until they connected. In the Summer of 2017, Rachel and Paul accepted new, exciting career paths simultaneously meeting each other. Rachel had a few weeks of Corporate freedom and went to a Spanish wine tasting event with zero hesitation since she loves Spanish culture, food, and wine. Paul was announced at this wine tasting as the new Corporate Executive Chef of Salt7 and prepared a tasting menu paired with the wines. Paul's Croquettes had Rachel in bliss, and she was clearly the youngest lady at the tasting. While Paul worked the room, as he does, the two started chatting about living in New York City in their past lives and sharing a love/hate relationship with the Jets and Yankees (a rare combo). They quickly made plans to continue the conversation later that night over Whiskey and Coors Light. Ultimately, they never stopped talking from that day forward and have been the best of friends, lovers, and partners ever since.
