Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
The wedding events will take place at the Sutton Place Hotel, which we recommend for the most convenience. Guests are also welcome to stay at other hotels or AirBnbs in Revelstoke. If you choose to stay off‑site, please note that you’ll need to arrange your own transportation to and from the venue.

We have a wedding registry for a few items to help us finish our home. We want to emphasize that we deeply appreciate any gift you may choose to give—including a monetary contribution or simply the gift of your presence. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

There will be a shuttle running from the Sutton Place Hotel lobby to the ceremony site from 2:30–3:30 p.m. We kindly ask that guests arrive by 3:30 to ensure everyone is seated and ready for an on-time ceremony.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
No black‑tie required! We recommend semi-formal attire that you can move (and dance!) in. Feel free to look your best while staying comfy enough to celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

We’ve added plus ones to invitations where applicable. If your invitation doesn’t include one but you’d like to bring a guest because of the travel involved, just send me a message and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We’re excited to celebrate with the families we’ve invited. If your child wasn’t included on your invitation and you think they should be, please reach out—we may have missed someone, and we’d love to make it right! I am also getting information about trusted babysitters in Revelstoke. If you would be interested in having a sitter stay with your kiddos while you dance the night away, let me know, and I can share the details with you!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
The meal we’re serving is already nut‑free and dairy‑free, and the majority of items are gluten‑free as well. If you have any other allergies or dietary needs, please reach out so we can make arrangements for you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is limited parking available at the Revelation Lodge. A shuttle will run between the Sutton Place Hotel lobby and the Revelation Lodge throughout the evening, and guests are welcome to park at the hotel and take the shuttle. Please note that during dinner service, the shuttle will be paused for about an hour.
Question
Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
We do have a couple of extra events planned around the wedding. On Saturday, Norm and Rob will be hosting a fun golf game at the Revelstoke Golf Club, followed by a welcome dinner that evening for those who’ve arrived early. On Sunday, before the ceremony begins, we’ll be serving coffee and cocktails. The bride and groom, along with their families, are especially excited to spend quality time with guests at the hotel leading up to the celebration.
