Red Rocks and Morrison Slide Trails
A great 3-mile hike near the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater that offers beautiful views of the city. One of our (Zadie's) favorites! A short drive or Uber ride from the hotel.
Green Mountain West Trail
This is an easy 4-mile out-and-back hike with a beautiful view at the top. You can see several mountain peaks. There's a sign at the top that tells you which ones!
Sunny Aspen, Old Ski Run and Lodge Pole Loop
Moderate 4-mile hike that's well-shaded and has a beautiful view at the top.
Independence Mountain Trail
Quick 2-mile hike. We haven't done this one, but it gets good reviews on AllTrails and is only a 35-minute drive from the Hilton.
Crags Trail
4.8 mile out-and-back trail. We haven't done this one, but it gets excellent reviews on AllTrails. This is a longer drive from the Hilton, so you'd need some time for it.
Gateway Trail to Palmer Trail and Scotsman Trail Loop
This is a 4-mile loop in Garden of the Gods park. We haven't done this one, but it gets good reviews on AllTrails and we've heard great things about Garden of the Gods. This is a 50-minute drive from the hotel.
Highline Canal Trail
This is right near our neighborhood! You can take the trail south like the AllTrails map shows or cross Colorado Boulevard and take the trail east past Eisenhower Park. We've biked along the eastern route, and it was very pleasant. This is a quick 15-minute drive from the Hilton so would be a nice activity if you're short on time.
Denver Highlands Neighborhood
Check out the Highlands neighborhood for lots of great restaurants, bars, and breweries. A short drive or Uber ride from the hotel.
The Spa @ The Hilton Denver Inverness
The hotel has a luxury spa with lots of available services to treat yo'self.
Golf @ The Hilton Denver Inverness
The hotel has a golf course and club rentals available if you'd like to play a round before the wedding on Saturday!
