Sit, walk, or bike on the lake trail - it's probably our favorite thing about Chicago. Take a look at Diversey Harbor, see statues at the AIDS Garden, grab a drink at Bacino's Italian Grill, or walk up north to Montrose's dog beach. Bring your bathing suits--Montrose and North Beach are great for a lake day.
Great places for kids! We love the belugas. Walk around the museum campus and admire the architecture and the lake.

Lincoln Park Zoo is completely free for everyone and has a cafe to grab a quick bite. No reservations required. Right next to the Lincoln Park Conservatory.

Right next to DePaul's Lincoln Park campus. Known for their sandwiches and coffee during the day and turning into a 1920s era speakeasy with eclectic drinks at night. They make Rachel's favorite chai latte!
