Question

What is the wedding attire/dress code?

Answer

The attire for our wedding will be Semi-Formal. Semi-Formal attire includes gowns and tuxes, as well as cocktail dresses and suits. We ask that you please do not wear clothing that would be considered casual or every-day wear.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love all the little ones in our families, we have decided that children will not be invited to the wedding. Our age cut-off will be 16 years or older. If you cannot make it due to any childcare restrictions, we completely understand. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you are not sure if you were given a plus one option, please refer to your invitation envelope. You should see "and Guest" next to your name if you can bring a plus one.

What is your venue address? Are your ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

The address for our venue is 1 N. New York Road, Galloway, NJ 08205. Both events will be held at the same location.

How will I know what the right building is?

Answer

The Smithville Inn is marked by various signs visible from the road that say "Historic Smithville Inn." It is the first building inside the village off the main road and is also easy to spot by its stone chimney.

Where can I park for the wedding?

Answer

In order to make it easier for our guests, we will have Valet parking located directly outside of the Smithville Inn entrance. You can pull up to the entrance and have the Valet attendant take your car for you. If you'd prefer to park yourself, there is a gravel parking lot located directly across the street from the Smithville Inn that is available to the public.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would advise you to arrive at 3:45pm (45 minutes prior to the ceremony). Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to ensure you have adequate time for parking and getting to your seats.

Do you have a block of rooms reserved anywhere?

Answer

We do! Please check the Travel tab on our website for our reservation code at the Colonial Inn. This block will only be held until April 24th, at which time it will reopen to the public and be first-come, first-serve. To use the code, you will first have to set your check-in and check-out dates, select to book a room, and then select "Special Rates" where you will be able to type in the code. An additional hotel option that does not have a reserved block of rooms can be found on the Travel tab, as well.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or lifestyle preferences?

Answer

Absolutely. We know some of our loved ones have allergies and restrictions. If you have any specific restrictions or lifestyle preferences (i.e. vegetarian), please notify us in the "Dietary Restrictions" section on your RSVP (either online or the paper copy) so we can let our venue know. Please also feel free to ask your wait staff at the wedding about ingredients if you are unsure about an item. We will do our very best to accommodate you.

Can I take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We are so happy that you want to capture our special day with us! Please feel free to take all the pictures you want during cocktail hour and the reception. However, we do ask that you put your phone away during the ceremony. We want you to be as present and in the moment with us as possible. Thank you for understanding and helping us all experience the moment together.

Is your wedding indoors or outdoors? Should I know anything that will affect what I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Both! If weather permits, our ceremony will be outside in the Smithville Inn courtyard. Cocktail hour and the reception will be held inside the Inn. The outdoor ceremony will be approximately 30 minutes long and will be moved indoors if there are poor weather conditions.

I was invited to the Bridal Shower, do you have a Bridal Shower Registry?

Answer

We have one registry for the bridal shower and wedding. You can see this registry under the Registry tab on our website. We will be opening gifts at the bridal shower, so if you choose to order something and are coming to the shower, please bring your gift! We truly appreciate the thought!

Question

I am attending the Bridal Shower, but the gift I bought you is a contribution to a cash fund. How can I show that at the shower?

Answer

When you contribute to one of our honeymoon cash funds, you can select a date for Zola to reveal your gift to us. If you would like, you can set that date to the day of the Bridal Shower and we will be notified then. If you still want to present us with something physical at the bridal shower to represent your gift, feel free to write your contribution in a card, or present it in any other creative way you see fit. Thank you so much for your gift!

Question

I am not going to the Bridal Shower, but I want to buy you a physical gift. How should I handle giving this to you?

Answer

We would be so happy to receive a gift from you, even if it is not at the Bridal Shower! Please ship any physical gifts you may get us for our wedding, if you will not be attending the Bridal Shower, to 124 Walden Circle, Robbinsville, NJ 08691. Please do not bring physical gifts to the wedding. Thank you so much for the thought!

Will there be a place for cards at your wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will have a card box at the reception.
