We’ll be having a cake and punch reception, which is a simple, relaxed style of celebration right after the ceremony. Instead of a full dinner and evening party, it focuses on light refreshments, visiting, and celebrating together. How ours will work: • Time: 3:00–5:00 PM — this timing is before dinner, so guests won’t be expecting a meal. • Food & Drinks: There will be an assortment of small foods, desserts, wedding cake, punch, and refreshments. • Vibe: It’s meant to be easygoing and intimate — time to mingle, take photos, and enjoy the moment without the structure of a big evening reception or a full open bar.
