The wedding ceremony and dinner are expected to be outside as long as it is not raining. The remainder of the reception will be primarily inside but outdoor seating is still available. Trout Lake in June is typically warm during the day but does get quite chilly into the evening.
No gift is necessary. We’re just appreciative that you’re making the trek out our way to celebrate together.
If you are having any problems with finding accommodations please reach out to Rachel or Nathan and we can assist.
Please be aware there is construction on I-84 which often gets significantly backed up when heading westbound towards Portland in the mid-afternoon to early evening and can cause abrupt highway stopping. There is also weekday business hours construction delays on SR-14 at the 141 intersection. Additionally the 141 to White Salmon is often closed for construction. This is not likely to disrupt your travel to Trout Lake if you are driving directly from SR-14 then up the 141. Road closure signs are misleading unless you plan to go directly to White Salmon. There are toll bridges at both Hood River and Cascade Locks. Hood River is slightly more expensive and payment can only be done online. The Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks does accept in person payment.
The weather is looking like it can’t quite make up its mind for Friday night and Saturday. Please be prepared for colder than average temps and possible light rain
