The Wedding Website of Rachel Kaiser and Michele Auerbacher
Question

What are you doing to address the COVID-19 pandemic in relation to your wedding?

Answer

The health and safety of all of our guests is our utmost priority. We will be checking in with our venue and vendors frequently to ensure we are following CDC and local guidelines. The ceremony is completely open air and the tented reception will also have open airflow with socially distanced tables. We will be able to seat tables per family and/or social bubble, please let us know if you have a preference ahead of time. We will update this website with any changes and are happy to discuss any concerns our guests may have. We ask that any guests experiencing fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, body aches, or loss of taste and smell not attend. Masks will be absolutely encouraged and both Michele and Rachel have been fully vaccinated (yay!). Please check back here as the date gets closer and reach out to Rachel or Michele with any specific questions.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

20-30 minutes before the start time of 4:00pm!

Question

Can we stop by the gift shop and tasting room before the ceremony?

Answer

Given how many loved ones we hope will join us on our big day, Flag Hill’s indoor retail and tasting room will not be able to accommodate that many patrons. Don’t worry though, you will be able to enjoy their great wines and spirits during our wedding and since you’ll love it so much, they would love for you to come back another time for a full tasting!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden attire, please!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, we really do! However we would love for this to be an opportunity for you to have fun with us while the kids stay home. Please reach out to Rachel or Michele if this will complicate your ability to attend and we would be happy to talk more about it.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Plenty! We will also be providing a shuttle to and from the hotel so you can party away with us without the worry of driving!

Question

Will there be a shuttle to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We have secured some good ol' school buses for our guests to travel from downtown Portsmouth to our wedding in Lee, NH. Two buses will be leaving from the Sheraton hotel (location of our hotel block) at 3:00pm and just after 3:00pm. You do NOT need to be staying at the Sheraton to take advantage of this. There is public parking in downtown Portsmouth and the Sheraton also has non-guest parking for a fee. Masks are currently mandatory on the buses and please sit either by yourself or with a member of your household/social bubble. The buses will bring guests back to the Sheraton from Flag Hill at early departure times of 7:30pm, 8:30pm, and at the end of the night at 10:00pm.

Question

Are either the ceremony or reception outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside on the lawn and the reception will be under a tent. As New England weather can be very unpredictable, we suggest you dress for July heat but bring a sweater.

Question

Does the tent have a floor?

Answer

Wear whatever dancing shoes you want because the reception tent is over pavement!

Question

Can we walk around the vineyard?

Answer

Absolutely! You are welcome to explore the grounds. We hope you also enjoy our lawn games and campfire located outside the reception tent on the lawn.

For all the days along the way
