Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP button tab above and RSVP at anytime. We will include a paper RSVP with the invite if you prefer to mail your RSVP back to us.

What if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by (September 7, 2024), you will be marked as “not attending”. We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and therefore cannot accept late RSVPs. Thank you for understanding!

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate “Declines with regret” on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d “Accepts with pleasure”, but find you will not make it, please notify Rachel Masek (563-419-4203) as soon as you are aware.

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

We would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Therefore, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Where are your ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at Little Lights on the Lane (2 Ember Lane, West Branch, IA 52358). Pending weather the ceremony will be held outside.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin punctually at 4 o’clock in the evening. A time for the ceremony will be given on your formal invite and we ask that you arrive and be in your seat no later than 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive earlier than 15 minutes and it will give you time to park and find your seat!

What is the order of events?

Answer

Ceremony: 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM Cocktail Hour: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM Dinner: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Dancing: 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Where should we stay?

Answer

Our venue is located in West Branch, Iowa. We have a single hotel block at AmericInn by Wyndham in Coralville, Iowa. Otherwise, we have linked many other hotels on the Travel page to give our guest the freedom to stay at a place that is most comfortable for them. Cedar Rapids, IA is approximately 30 minutes from the venue and Iowa City, IA is approximately 20 minutes from the venue and both are beautiful cities with a plethora of hotels/Airbnb/Vrbos to stay at!

Is there a shuttle/transportation available?

Answer

Shuttle will be available to and from the venue at the Highlander hotel and the AmericInn by Wyndham Coralville! Otherwise, consider Uber or taxis near by to safely travel home after the night is over!

How can I contribute to your honeymoon fund?

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, should you wish to contribute to our honeymoon, a wedding card can be dropped in the card box at the reception.

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available on site!

I have a dietary restriction, what should I do?

Answer

We will be serving appetizers and dinner that can accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions. Please indicate any dietary restrictions along with your RSVP so we can plan accordingly!
