National Zoo
The National Zoo is free and a short drive from the recommended hotels. Remember to book your timed entry pass on the website prior to going.
Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum
There are lots of great museums in DC, but this is our favorite! All of the Smithsonians are free, just remember to book your timed entry pass online beforehand.
Rock Creek Park
Trails in this beautiful park are accessible about 15 minutes from the LINE or you can drive and park at Pierce Mill. The park should be lovely in the fall.
