The new Museum of Wisconsin Art—MOWA—opened in 2013, with two pedestrian bridges linking stunning gardens and sculptures to the shops and restaurants on Main Street. A Wisconsin destination, MOWA welcomes almost two hundred thousand visitors annually to West Bend.
Shalom Wildlife Zoo covers 100 acres, and you can explore it via gravel roads. It takes about two hours to complete the whole circuit, and golf cart rentals are available for those who would prefer not to walk. You may purchase feed to give to the animals as well.
This is a 6.4-mile point-to-point trail near West Bend, Wisconsin. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 2 h 20 min to complete if you hike the entire 6.4 miles, but can turn back early as well to easily shorten the hike. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running.
The Labyrinth Garden Earth Sculpture is 90 feet in diameter and contains seven circuits lined with flowering plants, herbs and ornamental grasses. Great for taking photos. The garden is open for anyone to explore and enjoy. Admission is free.
Whistling Straits is one of two 36-hole links-style golf courses associated with Destination Kohler, a luxury golf resort owned and operated by the Kohler Company in Kohler, Wisconsin. The other course is Blackwolf Run, located in the Village of Kohler.
