A hinge success story, Mauricio and Rachel bonded over their love of music, concerts, records, trying out new recipes & restaurants, working out, traveling, Mavs games, and SNL reruns. Their first date was at the House of Blues, where they watched Badfish, a Sublime cover band! The food was average that night and the concert was a blur, but it was the perfect night to bond and fall for each other. 3 and a half years later, they decided to be concert buddies & sous chefs for life.

It was a Wednesday night. After a quick bike ride around White Rock Lake and a happy helping of BBQ, we got home, showered, and started winding down for bed. That night I decided to try my new "satin heatless hair curler." Yes - the long silly one that you sleep in... Halfway through my hair wrapping, Mauricio slyly hugged me from behind and quietly asked me to marry him. In his PJs, Mauricio proceeded to get down on one knee in our bathroom.
