What's the #1 activity people recommend for out-of-towners?
The chicago riverboat architectural tours. But good news! We'll be going on one of those same boats for our welcome party - you're off to a great start!
Any suggestions on what to do during the day?
The riverwalk/lakefront are classics in the summer. A walk through Lincoln Park and/or Lincoln Park Zoo (free) with coffee is a DELIGHT. If you're adventurous you could try going to the Field Museum or the Museum of Science and Industry!
Light Lunch / Drinks before the wedding?
Pizzeria Portofino on the river would be a very solid choice!
What if I want a sweet treat in the morning?
We fully recommend the Doughnut Vault. There was a time when Matthew would get these every weekend. The lemon poppyseed is his favorite!
