It all started in preschool - yes, really! We grew up with mutual friends, had our first "relationship" in 5th grade (as serious as middle school dating can get), and then life took us in different directions... until senior year of high school. After five years of persistent effort on his part (this man was determined for me to give him one chance), we finally tried it. And this time, it stuck. Saving the best year of school for last, we officially started dating fall of 2019 and spent our senior year together as one. Then came 2020 - graduation, a global pandemic, and our first big step into the real world. We moved in together, rented our first place, and started building a life side by side. We adopted a doodle named Archie in 2021 who quickly became our baby, and added a little wiener dog, Ruby, to the mix in 2024 - making our family feel even more complete (and chaotic in the best way). In May 2025, we hit another huge milestone: we bought our first home together. This really felt like the next big step in our love story. Not much after, something even more special happened - we officially were engaged in Canada at his grandparents cottage. The cottage on the lake has become such a special tradition for us, too - so it meant the world that this special moment took place there! After years of watching each other grow up, becoming high-school sweethearts, growing our love story over these years, and now getting to say, “I Do”, it almost feels unreal. We have dreamed of planning our perfect day and it is coming so fast. We are ready to spend forever with each other and celebrate alongside of all our loved ones.
