We met during what felt like one of the most unprecedented times in our lives which was the COVID-19 Pandemic, but for us turned out to be the biggest blessing in disguise for us because we found each other. From both of us being raised in San Pedro and having mutual friends, the Lord had His plan for us to officially meet until 2020. His plan included our love story to begin on October 16, 2021. Ironically, Rachel was born October 8th and Martiliano Jr was born on October 20th, plus our favorite holiday is Halloween! Since we were children, we loved dressing up in costumes and now we enjoy dressing up in costumes once a year together. Our first outing was on a hike because we were in the midst of a global pandemic. We both brought our Air-pods earphones as a social norm for working out, but little did we know how much we can talk, so we mutually agreed to leave the earphones behind. This led to us becoming the best running/hiking duo. From there, we fell in love with each other's personality, enthusiasm, athleticism, and faith. Our faith in God had been good, but as we moved on in life dating each other, our faith in God became greater, and continues to improve! Praise God for our relationship that has included dates at the beach, concerts, coffee shops, and baseball/football/basketball/hockey/soccer games. We're very thankful for our similar morals, goals, and aspirations. We connected quickly because of our words and actions that we've committed to one another. Our future feels bright because it has one thing in the center of it: God.
