Question

What if COVID is still going strong?

Answer

As of now, we are moving forward with our wedding as planned. Although we are hopeful that at the time of our wedding most people will be vaccinated, we recognize that this may not be the case for everyone. We will try our best to keep everyone safe and comfortable. If you do not feel comfortable attending our wedding, we completely understand. You can update your RSVP anytime on our site.

When should I RSVP by?

We ask that you RSVP online by May 8, 2021.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-Formal. Women are welcome to wear an evening gown or cocktail dress. Dressy jumpsuits, rompers and separates are also acceptable. Men are welcome to wear suits.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at 4:30pm to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the ceremony started as scheduled at 5:00pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a free parking lot to the left of the venue on East Market Street.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

HUMID! Average temperatures vary from 65°F to 85°F.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

For those staying at the Drury Inn & Suites in Burlington there will be transportation provided. The bus will leave promptly at 4pm on Saturday, June 19th. There are also various hotels in walking distance to the venue.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall within the Cadillac Service Garage where we will be serving finger foods and drinks.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Zola, which you can access through the "registry" page of this website.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that you do not take pictures during the ceremony. Otherwise, we encourage guests to take and post pictures on to their social media, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #11YearsLayher so we can see all of your pictures!
