our next big adventure...

On July 29th, 2016, a month after moving to San Antonio, and just a few days after striking up a chat on a popular dating app, I met up with a tall, dark and handsome stranger for the minimal commitment dating activity of a late afternoon walk in the park. Swept up in Rocky's Texas charm, that walk in the park merged into dinner and cocktails, and before long we were road-tripping to the river on hot August nights (with a dog in my lap) and he was talking me into buying my first road bike. Three years, hundreds of bike rides and river trips later, after an epic ride across Northern Michigan, dirty and sweaty on a hiking trail in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Rocky got down on one knee and asked me to be his adventure buddy for life. I said YES. And now we invite you to join us in kicking off the next lap of our adventure with a celebration of love, life, family and friends, in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas.
