11.1.15 We met at Allegheny College our Sophomore year in the athletic training room. Kylan was on the cross country team and I played basketball. Several classes together through the years, it wasn't until the beginning of Senior year when we started dating, spending every second together. Our first date was to go try and find the lunar eclipse, Kylan showed up with a thermos of hot chocolate and cozy blankets. When we arrived to Bousson forest in Meadville, we couldn't see a darn thing. It was still the most fun night I've ever had, sitting under the stars drinking hot chocolate. Our next date was carving pumpkins and embracing Fall festivities. Needless to say, he was a keeper from the very beginning. Together we loved hiking, going on adventures around Meadville and eating plenty of pizza along the way. We have spent over four magical years together and every day only gets better. The adventures get more spontaneous and we continue to reminisce on the good ol' Allegheny days that brought us together.

1.5.19 It was the weekend before Kylan's 25th birthday and I was throwing a little surprise party for him to celebrate. Saturday morning we went hiking at our favorite place, McConnells Mills State Park. Little did I know, Kylan had some big plans for that hike. We ventured to find a new waterfall Ky heard about. Once we found the waterfall he had me stand on the huge rock in front to pose for a picture. After setting up my tripod he joined me for the next round of photos. Moments later, while smiling at the camera, Kylan was tapping me on the shoulder with a ring box in his hand. He got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I bawled my eyes out and said YES! It was the best day of my life and that will forever be my favorite hike. We are so thankful for all the love and prayers that our family and friends have poured on us, and we are so excited for March 14th, 2020!!!
