Are the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, all wedding day festivities will be held at Shady Elms Farm!

What are my transportation options to and from the venue?

Answer

All guests have the option of driving themselves to the venue. There will be a parking lot located across the street for all guest's cars to be parked. We strongly recommend NOT relying on rideshare options (Uber/Lyft) given that Shady Elms Farm is located in a rather remote location. We have been advised that Uber/Lyfts will not be available. For guests that will not be driving themselves, we are offering shuttles to and from the hotels. If you are interested in the shuttle, please indicate this when you RSVP.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:00 PM EST. Please ensure you arrive at least 15 minutes prior.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outdoors. The reception will be held indoors.

Can I take pictures with my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We are opting for an unplugged wedding ceremony. We request that all phones be stowed away during the ceremony. Our excellent photographers will be sure to capture the moment :) Phones are welcome during the remainder of the day.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely yes! Beer, wine, and cocktails will be included at the open bar.

There will be a question when you RSVP where you can let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies.
