Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your invite has the option to RSVP for another person, we ask that you refrain from bringing an extra guest! We apologize that we cannot extend any extra invites, no hard feelings!

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire, please! Dresses for women, button-downs & ties for men. August is one of Hawaii's warmer months, so please feel free to wear light-colored garments and sleeveless dresses. Keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors on grass, so ladies, stilettos are not advised for this event :)

Are there hotel rooms blocked for guests at Hale Koa?

Answer

Hale Koa is a military hotel, which means that any reservation must be made by a sponsor (active military personnel that must be present at the time of check-in). So unless you have connections to a sponsor, we recommend booking a hotel in Waikiki, or an Airbnb. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Is there parking at Hale Koa?

Answer

For those who choose to rent a car, yes! Self-parking is available at the parking garage across from the hotel at a discounted rate of $6 per day (10 hour limit). Please remember to get your parking ticket validated inside.

What's the time difference in Hawaii?

Answer

In August, Hawaii Standard Time (HST) is 6 hours behind EST, 5 hours behind CST, and 3 hours behind PST.
