Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 we have made the difficult decision to reschedule our wedding to December 10th, 2020. Our location will remain the same, however the time will now be 4:00pm-10:00pm. We are asking our guests to kindly reply using the RSVP cards that were sent with the original invitation. If you have already sent in your RSVP card we are just asking that you contact either Rachel at 203-980-7668 or Justin at 203-415-6768 to confirm if our new date still works with your schedules. Our main focus right now is to make sure all our families and loved ones are remaining safe and healthy during this very difficult time. We thank you all for your understanding and support! We look forward to celebrating with you all in December!
Welcome to our wedding website. Yep, it’s finally happening! We’ve created this website to help you plan for our big day. You can find all of the need-to-know details right here, including directions to our venue, schedule, registry information and a little bit about our love story so far. We’d love you to have a look around and learn more about our wedding day plans. You can also leave us a song request to get you up on the dance floor! We can’t wait to see you there, and wanted to say a huge thanks for your love and well wishes so far. Xoxo, Rachel & Justin
Our story truly began back in 2007, 8th grade in the back of Mrs. Quirks history class where we had our first kiss. Two young kids who had absolutely no idea what the future had in store for us! We went our separate ways all throughout high school, that was until senior year 2011 when the sparks began to rekindle. We spent a majority of the year learning about each others pasts and catching up on lost time. As time went on feelings began to develop, even though neither of us wanted to admit it. That was until Justin asked Rachel to the prom, and she actually turned him down (little did she know she would regret that later on) Life does not come with an instruction booklet and although she tried to fight those feelings she ultimately couldn’t and the rest was history after that. We practically grew up together, I mean how many people can truly say they get to marry their high school sweetheart! We now own our beautiful forever home together where we have began to create even more amazing memories. We've even had the joy of extending our family with our little Siberian Husky fur baby, Luna (which I am sure we both will agree on, was the best decision ever!). Spending our days & nights together at our house, making it a home is exactly where we were always meant to be and although there is still so much for us to learn, we will always be there for each other as we enter each new chapter of our lives.
Justin asked me to marry him in the most adorable way possible! He included the most important little lady in our lives Luna, by having a special dog tag made that said "Will you marry my dad". Luna played her part in the big surprise so well. She came and sat right next to me as Justin said " Ray, look at the dog tag I got for Luna! It has her name on it!" Me being me I looked at him and said " That's stupid, why would you waste money on that!" As I went to look at the tag I saw what it really said and immediately felt overwhelmed with joy. I looked up with tears in my eyes as he was down on one knee and could not believe this moment was finally here! I could not have wished for a better way for him to ask me to marry him and to share that special moment with just him and Luna on that beautiful June evening. Although his plan was detoured a day due to me accidentally ruining his plan to propose the night prior by me having my friend over and us hanging out too late, everything has a funny way of working out and it ended up being a 100% us moment that we will remember for the rest of our lives
