Our venue has a block of rooms available at a discounted rate. Because it is such a popular time of year with an on site Oktoberfest celebration, Snowbird lodging anticipates becoming fully booked the weekend of our wedding. As of April, our weekend is already booked over 50% hotel capacity. **IF YOU THINK YOU'LL BE ABLE TO JOIN US FOR OUR SPECIAL WEEKEND, PLEASE RESERVE YOUR ROOM ON SITE ASAP! OUR VENUE IS UP A CANYON, WHICH CAN BE INTIMIDATING TO DRIVE LATE AT NIGHT. WE'RE HOPEFUL OUR GUESTS WILL PLAN AHEAD TO STAY ON PROPERTY AFTER A NIGHT OF CELEBRATING. Flight

Salt Lake City International Airport

For guests flying in, SLC airport is the airport to which you'll want to book your tickets. The airport is about a 40 minute drive to Snowbird lodge.

Rental Car

Various rental car companies

SLC airport has several car rental agencies on site, just a quick walk across the street from the terminal. When booking, please be sure to double check the agency's location, as there are some smaller companies off site that require a shuttle service. On site self - parking is complimentary for guests staying at Snowbird. Valet is $16 per vehicle per day.

Ride share/shuttle options

Both Uber and Lyft are readily available to pick up from SLC airport, and it's about $40-60 one way to Snowbird, depending on traffic. Rideshare cars will not be as convenient leaving Snowbird, so please allow plenty of time when leaving the property, or make car arrangements with Snowbird directly. Snowbird does offer a shuttle service between the airport and the lodge. This is not a complimentary service. Please inquire with Snowbird directly about booking. They use a third party shuttle service and can help you with making these arrangements.

Grand America

If you would like to stay more local to the Salt Lake City area, consider the iconic Grand America Hotel. It's right at the heart of the city and walkable to many bars, restaurants, and the beautiful LDS Temple Square. It's worth it to make a brunch reservation at Grand America on Sunday even if you're not a guest of the hotel! You can really go all out and treat yourself at the spa, one of the bride's favorite past times. Please keep in mind this hotel is about 35 - 40 minutes from the wedding venue.

Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City/Sandy

An economical alternative if staying on site isn't your thing but you'd like to stay a little closer to the venue than downtown SLC. Any hotel in the Sandy area will be at the base of the mountain, and take about 30 minutes driving to get to the wedding festivities.
