Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Rachel Ting Bomactao and Jossep Abel Navas
There will be about 2 hours of downtime between the end of our ceremony and our reception, which starts at 5pm. You can use this free time to explore San Diego! Here are a few things to do that are nearby.
University of San Diego

University of San Diego

5998 Alcala Park Way, San Diego, CA 92110

The Immaculata Church is located on the University of San Diego (USD) campus. Feel free to walk around the beautiful campus. Fun fact: Rachel completed her masters program at the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies at USD.

Mission Bay

Mission Bay

San Diego, CA 92109

With resorts, theme parks, restaurants, and 19 miles of beaches, everyone will find a few reasons to love Mission Bay.

Superbloom Coffee & Juice

Superbloom Coffee & Juice

2688 East Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, CA 92109

Enjoy locally roasted coffee and specialty drinks at this local cafe while you enjoy the view of Mission Bay.

Old Town San Diego

Old Town San Diego

2829 Juan Street, San Diego, CA 92110

Old Town is the location of the first European settlement in California. It has a quaint atmosphere, streets filled with the historic culture of the many traditions left behind.

Mount Soledad Memorial Park

Mount Soledad Memorial Park

Via Casa Alta, La Jolla, CA 92037, San Diego, CA 92037

This was one of the first places Rachel took Josi to see when he first arrived in San Diego. Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial is considered one of the most unique veterans memorials in America; it is the only memorial that honors veterans, living or deceased, from the revolutionary war to the current war on terror, with an image of the veteran. You also get a breathtaking view of La Jolla, San Diego, and the surrounding areas.

Kate Sessions Memorial Park

Kate Sessions Memorial Park

5115 Soledad Road, San Diego, CA 92109

One of the best places to enjoy beautiful views of Mission Bay, this 79-acre park is located on Mount Soledad. It's also perfect to have a picnic, or lounge in the sun and read a good book. Make sure you bring a blanket or towel if you plan to sit on the grass.
