We met online on Match.com. Josh messaged me first and I responded and it led to us having our first date at Takosushi, which I picked. Little did I know he did not like sushi and just watched me eat and listened to me talk the entire date. :-)

Josh and I love going to Asheville, NC at least once a year or every other year. It is a special place to us. In January of 2017 we took a trip there and went to visit the Omni Grove Park Inn which is one of our favorite places to go to have lunch or dinner and the views are spectacular. As we were looking at the back of the hotel at the underground spa with mountains and golf course in the back ground I hear, "You know I love you right?" I said yeah, and he said on one knee and shaking like a leaf, "Rachel, wil you marry me? " I of course said yes, cried, hugged him, admired my beautiful ring, and kissed my future husband.
