Joey and Rachel first met at a mutual friends game night in January 2023. After a few more game nights and a little push of encouragement from friends Joey and Rachel started dating in April 2023. Their dating life included Cubs games, trivia nights, competitive board games, and cooking together. In August 2024, Joey took Rachel to her favorite running location and asked her to marry him. They are thrilled to be surrounded by friends and family to celebrate their marriage and begin their life together.
