Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We're excited to host you in Sorrento! Please RSVP by 1st October 2025 so we can reserve your hotel room. You can do this by clicking on the RSVP tab on this website.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Ceremony: The Cloisters, Sorrento (Chiostro di San Francesco) Reception: Grand Hotel Royal, Sorrento Both venues are centrally located, have restrooms there or nearby and are within walking distance of most hotels in the town.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please wear what you feel comfortable in and remember comfortable shoes for walking and dancing. For our welcome event we recommend cocktail attire: cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. For our ceremony & reception it's semi-formal: tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

When should I arrive in Sorrento?

Answer

We recommend arriving by August 18th or 19th to settle in and enjoy some local sights before the wedding day on the 20th. We're also planning a welcome gathering and one amore night - details to come!

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest major airport is Naples International Airport (NAP). From Naples, Sorrento is about a 1 hour journey away. Rome Airport is about a 3 hour drive away.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Visit the travel section of this website for links to where the villa is located. There is a hotel next door which we recommend our guests stay at.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for plus-one information. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out - we'd love to clarify!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-focused celebration. That said, we completely understand that childcare isn’t always easy. We’d truly rather have you with your lovely little ones than miss celebrating together - so if bringing them is the only way you can join us, please do. We’ll be there with our own little one too!

Question

Will there be other events?

Answer

Yes! We're planning a welcome gathering and one amore night - details to come! Keep an eye on our Schedule page for updates.

Question

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the meal! There will be vegetarian options available, and we’re happy to accommodate allergies or dietary needs. Please let us know when you RSVP - there will be a space to note any restrictions. If you have a more complex concern, feel free to reach out to us directly so we can make sure you're taken care of.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is an underground car park located opposite Grand Hotel Royal in Sorrento which is our Reception venue. The Reception venue is a 5 minute walk away from our ceremony venue.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be arranging transportation for guests staying at the villa and Hotel Sol Mio to take you to the ceremony at The Cloisters and the reception at the Grand Hotel Royal in central Sorrento. Details about pickup times and locations will be shared closer to the date, but rest assured - we’ve got you covered so you can relax and enjoy the day. If you're staying elsewhere or have specific needs, please let us know and we’ll do our best to assist. There is a short walk after the ceremony (approx. 5 mins) to the reception venue.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! Since we’re lucky to already have most of the things we need for our home, we kindly ask that, if you’d like to give a gift, a contribution towards our future adventures together would mean the world to us.
