What's the Wedding Attire?
Answer
Our dress code is formal. We suggest guests wear a suit in any color, a long dress or a cocktail dress. You get the idea!

How Can I RSVP?

Our formal invitations have a QR code leading to digital RSVPs. Our website's RSVP tab also enables a digital RSVP.

How can we get there?
Answer
There is a parking lot if you plan to drive to Planterra, but we will also have two shuttles available to transport guests from the Godfrey Hotel in downtown Detroit to the venue and back. Please see our Travel tab for details about the shuttles if you plan to use them.

Is there a hotel block?
Answer
Yes! We are staying at the Godfrey Hotel in downtown Detroit for the weekend and we have a room block set up with them. Please see our Travel tab for details and a link to our block.

What if I Miss the Room Block?
Answer
If you miss out on the room block, try reaching out to the hotel and mentioning our wedding anyway - they may still be able to accommodate you with a discount room. If a discount room is not available, or if a room in general is not available, please see our Travel tab for info on additional places to stay.

Can I Bring a Plus One?
Answer
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is listed when you RSVP.

Are kids invited to the wedding?
Answer
We kindly request that this be an adult-only, 21+ wedding. We understand this may not work for everyone, so please know that we respect your RSVP decision either way!

Can I Take Photos of the Ceremony?
Answer
We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We have FANTASTIC professionals (who are available for hire, by the way) who are going to do a wonderful job, and their work will be shared with you all. For us and our guests, we're hoping to live in the moment!
