Both the ceremony & reception will take place at Castle Lady Hawke (1698 Shook Cove Rd, Tuckasegee, NC 28783) in Western North Carolina on Friday, October 24, 2025. We will be hosting a 'happily ever after' luncheon on Saturday to continue celebrating for those able to stay the full weekend; location is at the Lake Club at Bear Lake Reserve, semi-casual dress code (Girls: casual dresses, nice jeans or skirts, nice tops or sweaters; Boys: nice jeans or slacks, Polo's, button-downs or sweaters). Lunch and drinks provided.
The venue partners with Bear Lake Reserve (https://bearlakereserve.com/); booking at the resort includes a 10% discount on the stay and includes access to a variety of amenities during the wedding weekend. After booking, reach out to Anne Marie (aowle@bearlakereserve.com) with our names to receive the discount. We will also coordinate shuttles to & from the resort to the Castle on the wedding day. If not staying at Bear Lake, we recommend looking for hotels or rentals in nearby small towns (including Tuckasegee, Sylva, Cullowhee, & Cashiers).
We respectfully request no children other than immediate family for the ceremony and reception. As most guests are traveling for the event, we are happy to help explore options to support during the 'day of,' if you plan to bring your family for an extended trip. Children are welcome to attend the Saturday gathering.
