There is no formal reception. We want our guests to experience our favorite city the way they want to experience it. The bride and groom will provide everyone with their itinerary and would love you all to join us. Please do but do not feel obligated to do anything that you do not want to do. This is an elopement and we love each and every one of you, we are just wanting all of you to come together for the wedding and photo session. The rest is up to you.
The short answer is No. We will provide water, a shot after ceremony(for Joey) and mocktails/cocktails and a treat for photo session with all of you. We will also have a cake at the end of the photo session. Dinner will not be provided by the couple but will extend an invite to where they will be at the whole day.
No. Please make other arrangements for your children. New Orleans is not suitable for kids. We are sorry
YES. we are eloping but want as many of our loved ones there as possible. Right off the bat there will be rooms, travel, and food to pay for and any other activities that you may want to do. Because this is an expense for everyone we are not asking for gifts. Your presence is our gift. If you want to give a gift anyway please cash, gift cards, or donation to the honeymoon fund as we can not bring a lot of stuff back with us.
