Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Rachel Roddewig and Jay Carlson
For friends coming from afar, here we share some things to do near, if you would like some things to do, before or after the wedding. There are many places to ride your SxS too. Also, for people hanging out before the wedding and need things to do, among the list, the (clean, fresh water) pond at the venue is deep and swim-able! It is typically cold, but all the more power to you! :) SINCE IT'S BASICALLY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND, THE TOWN OF EASTON IS DOING A 4TH OF JULY PARADE ON THE 1ST AT 12 O'CLOCK. So whoever has time and wants to head there that would be something fun to do! :) Cle Elum is very close and is a fun town to walk around and enjoy cute shops and good food. Ellensburg is also. If you've wanted to check out Central Washington, it's right there! There is also many shops and fun restaurants to try. We are still trying them all, and haven't found one that's better than the next, yet! ;) Enjoy!!

Dru Bru

This is close to the venue! Brewery and tap room located at Snoqualmie Pass and in Cle Elum, WA

Swiftwater Cellars

This is close to the venue! A European Feel in the Cascades. Don and Lori Watts built Swiftwater Cellars to be the Northwest winery destination for everyone to enjoy fine wine with locally-grown inspired menus and relaxing beautiful surroundings accentuated by a European sophistication.

Rattlesnake Ledge Trailhead

Snoqualmie Valley Trail, North Bend, WA 98045

This is Rachel's favorite hike, in North Bend. It's not too hard and family friendly, for families that like a little challenge.

North Bend

North Bend, WA 98045

This is where we used to live. The town in super cute to walk around. We also really enjoyed the North Bend Bar and Grill.

Mt. Si Trailhead

King County, WA 98104

This is an all-day event but rewarding.

Snoqualmie Falls

6501 Railroad AVE SE`, Snoqualmie, WA 98065

This is always a great sight to see. There is also a family friendly hike to the bottom.

Snoqualmie

Snoqualmie, WA

Old town or Downtown is super cute to walk around. And, if you stop, don't forget to get some ice cream from the candy shop.

Fall City Floating

4101 Fall City-Carnation Road Southeast, Fall City, WA 98024

If you're hot and want something to do for the day, this float is really fun, and this company will provide tubes and a ride to drop you off.

Poo Poo Point Trailhead

11400 Issaquah-Hobart Road Southeast, Issaquah, WA 98027

This is another great hike. You will most likely see many people jumping off to hang-glide.

Woodinville Wine tasting

Woodinville, WA

There is a trail you can walk or bike ride and many wineries close by.

Chihuly Garden and Glass

305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109

We have never been here, but hear it is an amazing stop in Seattle.

Space Needle

400 Broad Street, Seattle, WA 98109

This is a must if you're not from the area.

Pike Place Market

Seattle, WA

This is also a Seattle must. So many fun shops and great views. It's close to the Ferris Wheel too.

For all the days along the way
