Rachel and Jason met at their local bowling alley one Friday morning. Rachel had a random day off of work and decided to do a little day drinking with some girlfriends. Meanwhile this was Jason’s spot for after work drinks. Long story short they met over a Bloody Mary. Rachel ordered a bloody mary. And to her dismay, she did not enjoy it and sent it back in exchange for another drink. The bartender told her that the guy at the bar thought she was crazy for not enjoying the perfectly crafted beverage. In his opinion it was one of the best he ever had. So Jason being the big loud guy that he is, started to give Rachel a hard time across the room about how she didn’t know what a good drink was. Rachel just laughed him off, and kept enjoying her time with friends. A little while later Jason ended up walking up to her to introduce himself and spark up a conversation. In his mind he was making it known he was interested. Rachel on the other hand was completely oblivious and didn’t pick up on the signals he was giving at all. She just really enjoyed the conversation they were having. It was truly dumb luck Rachel even gave Jason her number. They ended up going on their first date two weeks later. If he didn’t make conversation that day at the bowling alley, they would have never figured out their crazy personalities were perfect for each other.

Rachel and Jason are big fans of stand up comedy. Jason had been telling Rachel for months that he was writing a few jokes at work in hopes to try them out on stage. Jason convinced Rachel that a friend was able to get him a three minute set at their local comedy club. Rachel’s sister, Jason’s sister, and his brother in law played along and came to “support” him for his first time on stage. Instead of getting on stage to tell his jokes, he got on one knee and asked Rachel to marry him in front of the whole crowd. She was so shocked! She had no clue it was coming.
