Like many couples today, Rachel and Jarrett matched on a dating app in the beginning of the new year, 2020! Jarrett took the plunge in giving Rachel his number after exchanging a handful of messages. Rachel was ready to delete all dating apps and take a break until she saw Jarrett's message and decided to take the plunge with him. After five dates, the world shut down because of covid and the two decided to include each other in their small covid bubble to continue getting to know each other. After spending so much time together, they knew what they had was special!

Jarrett and Rachel spent many dates going on walks where Rachel shared her "secret park" with him. The "secret park" became a very special place to both of them and Jarrett knew that this was the place he wanted to propose. After speaking with both of their families, he enlisted the help of some of their close friends and family to help make the day so special. Jarrett made fake brunch plans near the park and suggested to walk through the park before brunch. Unfortunately, the weather was not on their side so they had to brave the single digit weather to get to the park. Once at the park, Jarrett proposed and Rachel said YES! The celebration continued back at their apartment with a surprise brunch where both Jarrett and Rachel's family and friends came to help them celebrate!
