Town of Banff
Jameson and Rachel met in Banff in 2019! We highly suggest touring the Fairmont Banff Springs where it all began. Some other gorgeous views would be "surprise corner" or the Sulphur Mountain Gondola. Our Favourite Restaurants include: Bear Street Tavern (The Big Bird is a must), Lupo, Magpie and Stump or The Waldhaus Pub! Drive around to see Two Jack Lake, Cascade Ponds, Cascade Gardens, or take a walk by the Bow River starting at the canoes with a hot chocolate from Wild Flour.
Canmore
Our favourite hike is Grassi Lakes, short but steep! Restaurants include: The Wood Patio, Bridgette Bar, The Iron Goat or Murrietas A must stop shop: Stonewaters & Big Bear Trading Company
Lake Louise
The iconic Lake Louise! We wont lie, there is not much to do here if you dont want to hike BUT this is considered one of the most beautiful places in all of Canada... and also where Jameson proposed! Take a nice walk along the perimeter of the lake, Canoe if they are still open, have lunch at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise or hike up to the darling Tea House (about a 1 hour round trip adventure)
Emerald Lake
This little sliver of heaven is about 2.5 hours from Calgary. There is no cell service but you can stroll around the grounds, adventure through the log cabins, potentially go on the lake in a canoe (weather dependent) and see "The Natural Bridge" Not a "must see" but if you are coming to Canada once, why not?
