James and I met when I was 19 and he was 24, in August of 2018. After months of hanging out with friends and just us, we grew closer and he asked me to go with him to his parents in Orlando, FL for his 25th birthday. We began dating on April 8th of 2019, the day after his birthday, and after he went ski diving, guess he wanted to take more than one leap that year. We spent two years in Tuscaloosa, AL moving from our apartments to a rental house, spent two summers making memories and having our friends over all the time while I finished school. When I graduated from UA in May of 2021, I realized outside of Roll Tide there wasn’t much to do in Tuscaloosa, so my parents helped me find a school to finish nursing, only it was in southern Alabama, 4.5 hours from where we were. So after dating for only two years, I took the leap this time and asked James if he would be interested in moving with me, and without hesitation, he said yes! Now here we are, getting married two days after our 7 year anniversary, blessed with two beautiful dogs, a gorgeous cat, an interesting bearded dragon, an amazing house, two good jobs, and a lifetime of love ahead of us. We’re so excited to have you all join us on our special day, and so thankful to those who have been there with us through the past 7 years of our relationship, we love you all and can’t wait to share this moment with the ones closest to us!
