It all began in 2024 at Hay City Store in Driftwood, Texas, just two people meeting, not yet realizing that God was quietly setting something meaningful in motion. What started as a simple encounter grew into a connection neither of us expected, but both of us felt. As we spent more time together, learning each other’s hearts, we found trust, laughter, and a sense of ease that felt rare. On October 10, 2024, we decided to move forward exclusively, a moment that still holds deep meaning for us. Looking back on that day, we see not only where our relationship began, but how much we’ve grown through every joy, challenge, and blessing since. Through it all, we’ve felt God’s hand steadying us, shaping us, and guiding us toward each other. On July 13, 2025, Jake proposed in Galveston, at the top of the Ferris wheel on Pleasure Pier, overlooking the Gulf. With the sun on our faces and the ocean breeze around us, life seemed to pause. Our children, James, Claire, Alice, and Garrett, were there to witness that moment, reminding us that our family had already begun forming long before any rings. Now, as we prepare to say “I do” with our loved ones around us, we’re grateful for every step that led us here - the lessons, the timing, and the quiet ways God brought our lives together. From that proposal to the day we’ll exchange vows 820 days later, we can clearly see His guidance in our story. We’re beginning this next chapter as a blended family, grounded in love, shaped by faith, and committed to the life we’re building.
