"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  Jeremiah 29:11   They may not have known it, but their love was written in the stars. Their lives intersected at the perfect time making space for them to find their forever best friend in each other. Rachel was born on December 7, 1998 near Dickinson, Texas, a small town located between Houston and Galveston. Hunter was born September 7, 1996 in Katy, Texas. Their story’s beginning reads much like a romance novel, complete with twists, turns, ups and downs and a lot of laughter. But they consider themselves blessed to call this fairy tale their own. Rachel moved to Cypress, Texas at age 20 after hurricane Harvey devastated her hometown in 2017. She began working at Orangetheory Fitness after the move. Not until later, did they learn that it was located less than a mile from Hunters’ childhood home. Hunter had spent the last four years at Austin College in Sherman, Texas where he played NCAA football all four years and created lifelong memories. Ok, enough background noise, let’s get to it. The night Hunter and Rachel met was an interesting one. Rachel was out with coworkers at Whiskey River (Hunter’s second home) when a handsome man asked her to dance; naturally, she was unsure and said no. Hunter was relentless and convinced Rachel to dance with him. And that’s where it all started. Their night continued with more dancing, laughter and great conversation. Rachel and Hunter had no way of knowing they’d just put into motion their forever commitment to one another. Hunter asked Rachel to marry him on January 8th in the year 2023 (with her parents permission, of course). The past four years have flown by and it is with great anticipation and pleasure that Rachel and Hunter wish to share their special day with their closest family and friends.
