Dress code is cocktail attire. Women can wear nice cocktail dresses and men can wear suits. Tuxedos and gowns are not suggested.
Our ceremony starts at 2:30. We'd recommend you arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, around 2pm, this way we can have time to make sure everyone is seated on time for the ceremony.
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors (on the beautiful dock attached to our venue). The reception will take place indoors. All events are taking place at the same venue (Trumpets at the Gate).
In late May we anticipate temperatures outside ranging from the mid 60s to 70s. Ideally it will be a nice sunny day (or else we will likely move events inside).
After we send out invitations, we will have an area on the website and your RSVP for you to indicate any dietary restrictions. We plan to accommodate as many requests as possible. We will have vegetarian and kosher options.
Yes! There will absolutely be an open bar during the entire event excluding the ceremony. This means the bar will be open during the cocktail hour (3pm) until the end of the reception (8pm).
We respect everyone's decision regarding the vaccine however many of our guests fall into the high risk category for covid. Thus, we ask that as a courtesy to these older guests, all guests be vaccinated if they plan to attend our wedding. If you are unvaccinated we are happy to plan to celebrate with you another time.
We have not booked blocks yet- but we plan on doing so. We'll be posting information about this on the travel section of our website!
