Rachel and Greg got paid to fall in love...well, sort of. In the summer of 2017, the two met while working for the same company in Chicago (shoutout Meg B!), and - for at least one of them - it was love at first sight. When Greg first saw Rachel, a voice in his head told him "you're going to marry that woman," and low and behold, that voice was correct. Slowly, the two began finding excuses to spend time with one another outside of the workplace. That Christmas, the two came back to Chicago from Michigan and made dinner together, and - to Greg's relief - revealed the feelings for each other were mutual. Just 5 months later, they moved to Washington, DC and the rest is history. -Greg
The day before Greg and Rachel were planning to travel home to Michigan for Thanksgiving with family, Greg asked Rachel to clear her schedule Friday afternoon so the two could enjoy their last day in DC before the holidays. The two packed a bottle of wine and a blanket and headed to Constitution Gardens with Moose. The Gardens were boasting rich fall colors, and a view of the Washington Monument in golden hour light. Rachel was growing suspicious when Greg was distractedly glancing around the park, but before she could ask any questions Greg was down on one knee. Their extremely talented friend Sami jumped out from behind a tree and captured it all. Rachel managed to say yes through lots of happy tears. -Rachel
