Getting Around

Having access to a car is the easiest way to get around the West Michigan area. For those flying or taking a train into town, there are rental car options in the area. If you know others coming into town for the wedding, we encourage you to coordinate and carpool together. If that or renting does not work for you, and you are in need of access to a car, please let us know and we can try and coordinate some carpool options.

Portland Express LLC

This is a shuttle service that works out of Portland. Unfortunately Ubers and Lyfts aren't easily available to/from Portland, but this shuttle can get to you to the airport or around town. You must call and book in advance.

Flight

Gerald R. Ford International Airport

Gerald R. Ford Airport in Grand Rapids is about 45 minutes from Portland and probably the most convenient airport to fly to/from.

Train

Amtrak

Amtrak travels from Chicago to Grand Rapids (~45 minute drive from Portland) and East Lansing (~35 minute drive from Portland).
