Flight

Northwest Florida Beaches Airport (ECP) or Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS)

There are two airports we recommend flying into: Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) and Northwest Florida Beaches Airport in Panama City (ECP). Both are less than an hour from Seaside and are served by major airlines, so we suggest checking flights into both to find the best option. We recommend to arriving by early to mid-day Friday and flying out anytime on Sunday.

Uber, Lyft & Car Services

If you’re staying in Seaside or WaterColor, there’s really no need to rent a car! Everything is close by, and Ubers and Lyfts are usually readily available, this is our recommended way to get around. If you’ll need special accommodations for transportation from the airport (such as car seats), feel free to reach out to us and we can recommend car services that can provide these.

Depending on where you’re staying along 30A, renting a car may be a good idea! Just keep in mind that parking around Seaside and WaterColor will be limited, especially on weekends. Both airports offer on-site rental agencies with a variety of options, and we recommend booking at least a month in advance to get the best rates and availability!

Most places to stay in Seaside and WaterColor are rental homes, and if you're able to find one that works for you, or get a group together to share, we highly recommend going this route! Vacation rentals can often offer more space, privacy, and amenities like kitchens, bikes, or even golf carts. The best way to book is through platforms like VRBO, 30A Escapes, or Sandpiper Rentals, where you can filter by location, group size, and price. We suggest looking along 30A between Seagrove Beach and Grayton Beach to stay close to the action while still enjoying all that 30A has to offer!
