We had a very modern day love story with how we met- on a dating app. We had the usual start of chatting for a bit before we decided to take the risk and actually meet each other in person. Turns out to be the best decision either of us made. We talked for hours about everything from politics to our families and dogs. We were both taken completely by surprise by how easily we got along. And, quickly, we were spending most of our time together. That is, until, Frank left on deployment a mere 2 weeks after we met. You read that right, 2 weeks. And, yes, we knew how crazy we were. But something just felt right about this. We had to see where it would take us. Luckily for us, it paid off. Now, almost 2 years after that first coffee date and after having survived a deployment and pandemic through just our first year, we cannot wait to tackle any hurdles life throws at us- till death do we part.
