We met at LT (Leadership Training) over three years ago in Estes Park, Colorado. One could say it was love at first sight, as we fell in love almost immediately. We hung out every day, worked side by side, and talked for hours about anything and everything. We became inseparable friends. I (Rachel) finally got the courage to meet up with Eric and ask what exactly we were. I (Eric) told her I liked her and the rest fell into place! We started long distance dating in early August 2022 and have been long distance ever since then. Now begins the next chapter of our story: in person marriage! I (Eric) graduated college and started working at a news station as a meteorologist. I (Rachel) watched him graduate and then finished getting my degree/certification as a licensed elementary school teacher. I (Eric) decided to propose to Rachel on July 10, 2024 in the same place we had met: Colorado. I (Rachel) of course said yes! Throughout our relationship, we have always placed God as the center. It is He who has directed our steps and it is He who will continue to guide us as we continue forward!
