Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, RSVP to events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is July 25th. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as a 'no'. We need to provide the venue and other vendors with a total guest count on time, and we hope you can understand.

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Since we hope for a beautiful autumn day with the sun shining and beautiful fall leaves on display, the reception and dancing will be held outdoors. The ceremony will be indoors, and guests will have access to another indoor space later in the evening. October temperatures in Dahlonega typically average around 57°F, with highs near 71°F and lows around 48°F. As the big day approaches, we recommend checking the forecast and dressing comfortably for the weather.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin punctually at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Please arrive no later than 2:50 pm or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Come dressed to impress! We’re inviting our guests to join us in semi-formal/cocktail attire. We kindly ask everyone to dress within our designated color palette to bring our moody fall wedding theme to life. For all the details on colors and inspiration, please visit the "Guest Attire" section of this website. We’ve included examples to help you envision the look we’re going for. Thank you for helping us make the day even more magical!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. We can only accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will appear on your wedding invitation. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones as much as you do! However, we have decided to keep our wedding to adult-only occasions with an exception for the children in the wedding. We are hoping this is a much-deserved night off for the parents.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Our venue does have parking, but it's limited to only 35 vehicles. Where possible, please carpool to the venue. If needed, people can park at our Airbnb near the venue and be transported to the chapel.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No. We kindly request that all phones and cameras remain silenced and away until the ceremony concludes. We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
