Like many during the pandemic, we met online. It automatically felt like we had known each other our entire lives. When we decided to meet in person, we met at Harlinsdale Farms' dog park. We became good friends that turned into a true love story.

It was a magical (and rainy) day. Rachel was sent for a birthday massage while Derek was working his magic. Due to the Pilgrimage Festival, Harlinsdale Farms was closed! But Derek did not give up. He told them his plans and how we had first met at Harlinsdale Farms. He sent a message to Rachel to let her know to meet him there after the massage. The gates were opened just for Rachel and she found Derek standing in the rain holding an umbrella. He dropped down to one knee and said "this is where we first met so I thought this would be the perfect place to ask you to be my wife." Of course Rachel screamed yes! So the love story continues...
