The Winery at La Grange

Their Cabernet Franc and Battlefield Red Blend are standouts, and the intimate vineyard setting — with mountain views and a cozy cellar lounge — makes it feel like a true escape. Open daily starting at noon.
The Winery at Sunshine Ridge Farm
A beautiful lakeside winery that offers wine, craft beer, and hard cider all under one roof — something for everyone! They regularly host live music and events, and in cooler weather they even pour mulled wine. Open Wed–Sun.
Aroma II Tasting Room
Right in the heart of historic downtown Haymarket, Aroma is a cozy neighborhood wine bar pouring selections from nearby Morais Vineyards. Perfect for a low-key glass of wine and a charcuterie board before or after dinner. Open Thu–Sun.
Trouvaille Brewing Company
One of the highest-rated spots in the area (and for good reason). Trouvaille — French for “a lucky find” — is exactly that: a welcoming taproom with excellent craft beer, friendly staff, and a packed calendar of live music, trivia, karaoke, and comedy nights. Don’t miss the sours.
The Farm Brewery at Broad Run
A sprawling farm brewery experience just a short drive away. Think live music on the lawn, rotating food trucks, axe throwing at the Axe Barn, and a huge selection of local craft beers. A great spot for a casual afternoon with the group.
Great Mane Brewery
A relaxed, dog-friendly warehouse brewery with rotating taps and a welcoming vibe. Fans love the Mane Shaker IPA and the Mango Sour, and the space regularly hosts fun community events.
Monroe Bay Oysterette
A hidden gem right on Washington Street serving incredibly fresh oysters, clam chowder, crab dip, and elevated seafood dishes in a cozy, intimate setting. Locals rave about this place — don’t overlook it!
Himalayan Grill
Widely considered one of the best restaurants in the area, this Indian and Nepalese spot has a near-perfect rating for a reason. The chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and momos are all exceptional. A wonderful dinner option.

A charming tavern on Haymarket's main street serving fresh, seasonal American fare. Great for a relaxed dinner, and their weekend brunch is a local favorite too.
Ghosted Concepts Haymarket
If you find yourself craving something casual and crave-worthy, Ghosted Concepts serves what fans call some of the best chicken sandwiches around. The spicy chicken sandwich is legendary. Open Tue-Sun.

A beautiful, free nature preserve with wooded trails, ponds, streams, historical markers, and even beavers. Open every day from 7am to 7pm - perfect for a crisp November morning walk.
Silver Lake Regional Park
A scenic lake surrounded by easy walking trails and picnic areas. No entry fee, plenty of parking, and a lovely spot to take in the fall foliage.
Bull Run Mountains Natural Area Preserve - Virginia Outdoors Foundation
For those who want a quieter escape into nature, this preserve offers peaceful wooded trails with wildlife, streams, and beautiful fall scenery. Open Fri-Sun.
