We met 2 years ago in Tyler, TX, at the gym. Daniel was in paramedic/fire school, and Rachel was in nursing school. Daniel approached Rachel and asked for her phone number... Rachel rejected him because she was too busy with school to date anyone. 2 years later, Rachel was working in the Emergency room in Dallas when Daniel brought her a patient. Daniel said, "Aren't you Rachel Hatten?" Rachel thought he was crazy for knowing her name! Daniel reminded her that they met 2 years ago in Tyler. They said their hellos and goodbyes and went about their days. Little did Rachel know, Daniel told his coworker, "I'm going to marry that girl." They saw one another many more times in the ER until one day Daniel mouthed from across the ER, "Are you married?" Rachel said, "Are you proposing??" Daniel said, "I will!" They talked a few more times until Rachel did a ride out on the firetruck. Daniel continued pursuing Rachel, even after she told him she just wanted to be friends first, until she (finally) agreed to go on a date with him. They went on SO many more dates after this! And the rest is history!!!
