It's hard to narrow down our list of favorite things (mostly places to eat) in Chicago, but here are some of our recommendations - all close to the church and hotel. For those that will need to kill some time between the ceremony and reception, Declan's is a great neighborhood Irish pub - and just a short walk away from the church!

One of our absolute favorite dinner or weekend brunch spots in our neighborhood, Lincoln Park! Reservations are recommended. Ordering the burger is also recommended.

We went on our first "official" date here. In the heart of Gold Coast, it would be a great spot to grab a glass of wine and some appetizers - while staying close to the hotel.

A very classic neighborhood diner! Would be a great place to grab a big breakfast - to fuel up before the festivities or to cure a hangover the next day.
