How we met? That story is not a very long. We met on a dating website called Upward. Upward is a Christian dating site and we both were getting pretty burnt out before seeing each other on the app and both of us swiping right. From there Connor cracked a joke while chatting on the app and within 30 minutes were were making plans to meet in person. That same day we went on our first date and got ice cream. On that date we had made plans for our second date later that week and by the end of the second week of going on dates we put a title on the matter and about 6ish months later Connor was on one knee in Cincinnati asking if we should make this a forever thing. Here we are, excited for July 9th!

Connor and Rachel went on a trip together to Cincinnati Ohio for Thanksgiving with his family. What a special treat for Rachel to see the place where Connor grew up. It was the day before Thanksgiving and Connor's mom, sister, and sister-in-law asked if Rachel wanted to get her nails done with them as the family was getting pictures done on Friday. Of course Rachel said yes and so on they went. They tried one place but they did not have enough nail techs. Rachel thought, that they were just going to leave it at that, because lets be honest, do they really need nails done for family photos? The ladies tried another location which was a success! Later that day, Connor asks Rachel to put on a nice dress as he had a date night planned for the two of them. Connor takes Rachel to all the locations around the city that meant a lot to him and then they landed in downtown where they went to DELICIOUS dinner at Boca (aka 5 star Michelin Star Restaurant). Connor then told Rachel that they were going to his favorite bar downtown to close out the evening with a special drink. As they parked and got out of the car, Connor was taking Rachel in the opposite direction of the bar down a dark alley. He started to talk Rachel up and tell her how much he loved her. He eventually led her to a beautiful look out of the city where he popped the question. Such a sweet moment as Rachel's parents got to be there via facetime and made the moment all the more special.
