Take a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway and stop at one of the many pull-outs for mountain views! This visitors center is a perfect spot to learn about the history of the parkway through the years.
Southern Highland Craft Guild, Folk Art Center
Located on the Parkway! Explore artisan-made jewelry, textiles, pottery, glass, and much more, crafted by the members of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, over 400 artists and craftspeople of Southern Appalachia. Saturday June 3rd will have a Pop-Up mini Fair outdoors with local vendors.
The North Carolina Arboretum
Stop and smell the flowers at the NC Arboretum! Beautifully manicured gardens and over 10 miles of hiking/biking trails.
Jump Off Rock
This was the other potential spot for our wedding! Stunning views just south of Asheville.

Stroll through the Biltmore House & Gardens and the Winery. Reservations required.
Highland Brewing Company
Largest independent, family-owned native to the Southeast and the first legal brewery in Asheville after prohibition! Large venue with multiple locations to sip great beer and mingle. Highly recommend the Meadow!
Burial Beer Co. Asheville Taproom
This brewery is one of our favorites in Asheville. It has incredible beer, food, and the atmosphere is super funky. In 2021 and 2022, Burial was named Craft Beer & Brewing's Readers Choice #1 Small Brewery in the World.
BearWaters Brewing Company: Riverside
The Canton location has beautiful views of the Pigeon River where you can rent inner tubes or kayaks! We love the atmosphere here, and the facility was a Jeep Willy manufacturing plant in WW2.
